Ensure The Well-Being Of Lone Workers
TELDIO
Teldio’s Centralized Lone Worker (CLW) application allows companies to ensure the well-being of their lone workers by periodically checking in. The solution provides employees with a safeguard against unforeseen accidents, and organizations with a means for quick response to these unfortunate situations.
By automatically sending ‘Alive Check’ messages at specific time intervals to confirm workers well-being, managers are reassured that their employees are safe. If a worker fails to respond to a request within the allocated response time, an emergency alarm is automatically raised on their behalf notifying emergency response personnel. Response personnel receive the CLW alarm directly on their MOTOTRBO™ radio or mobile device, thus ensuring rapid response.
Key Benefits
- Enhance Worker Safety - With CLW’s flexible activation and deactivation options, workers, supervisors and administrators are reassured that lone workers are never left to their own demise when they’re completing risky or potentially hazardous jobs and tasks.
- Increase Situational Awareness - By pairing CLW with RTLS, workers are reassured that they are safeguarded based on their location. Should a worker enter a predefined dangerous or hazardous area, CLW automatically activates.
- Improve Response Times - When a CLW alarm is activated, first responders are notified directly on their radios and mobile devices via e-mail, audio or text message.
Key Features
- CLW sends ‘Alive Check’ messages to an employee's radio.
- Should a worker not respond, CLW triggers an alarm & notifies the response team.
- Customization – configure CLW to automatically activate based on an employee’s schedule, define the intervals at which employees receive messages, specify the response group, identify the number of unanswered messages permitted before an alarm is activated.
- Ensure alarms are sent to the right person based on the time of day, worker competency & location by pairing with Teldio’s ACS.
- By pairing with Teldio’s RTLS location app, CLW automatically activates & deactivates based on an employee’s location. Create safe zones & hazardous areas.

Real-Time On Premise Indoor & Outdoor Employee Positioning
TELDIO
RTLS Indoor & Outdoor Positioning System utilizes both Bluetooth technology and standard GPS to monitor and track the location of employees throughout corporate facilities. Bluetooth beacons are strategically placed throughout indoor facilities, while GPS geo-fencing is used to monitor the outdoor areas such as parking lots, walkways and entrance roads.
By combining Bluetooth and GPS technology staff can be located from any position in or around the facility. When leaving a bluetooth area and going outdoors, the MOTOTRBO™ radio seamlessly switches from pairing with Bluetooth beacons to GPS monitoring. Administrators and dispatchers can quickly locate staff on an easy-to-use interface. When users are indoors, administrators can view their location on the detailed floor plan, or see their position through Open Street Maps, when they go outdoors.
RTLS can be used in conjunction with Teldio’s ACS to receive & dispatch personal safety alarms to response teams. Alarm notifications are sent to the best individual(s) based on their schedule, location and competency and include the last known location of the distressed worker.
Key Benefits
- Increased Productivity - By logging onto the web browser, administrators can better manage their mobile workforce by quickly confirming their
whereabouts & dispatch jobs to the nearest person.
- Improved Situational Awareness - Better respond to situations and emergencies with up-todate location information.
- Enhanced Worker Safety - When paired with Teldio’s safety applications MDN & CLW, RTLS ensures the response team is given the distressed
employee's last-known location, thus decreasing response times.
Key Features
- One user interface for both indoor & outdoor positioning.
- Each device is identified on the map by the user’s Radio ID or name
- RTLS can be accessed via a web browser on any computer or mobile phone.
- Handsets seamlessly switch from Bluetooth to GPS monitoring.
- Maps & sub-maps allow for intuitive navigation of multi-building, multi-level
- Install RTLS in multiple configurations to monitor users throughout the entire building, entrance/exit points & critical room entrance.
- Pair with CLW & the app activates & deactivates based on an employee’s location.

Proactive, Motion Detection Based Lone Worker Monitoring
TELDIO
Teldio’s Man Down Notifier (MDN) is a cost-effective and potentially lifesaving way of detecting
if a worker has suffered a fall or had an accident. Utilizing the radio’s accelerometer to gauge the
worker’s movements & vertical position, MDN monitors for a lack of movement, a tilt going beyond
the application’s configured parameters, or a combination of both. Should an alarm be triggered,
a notification is dispatched to the response groups’ mobile devices with the time & the radio ID or
worker’s name.
Teldio recognizes that not all job tasks are completed standing up and MDN’s unique flexible
design ensures that employees are proactively monitored without affecting their job performance.
Pre-alarm notifications reduce the number of false alarms while ensuring mobile workers are
protected. MDN’s intelligent features include an audible pre-alarm, adjustable detection timer,
point of reference reset and temporary sleep mode.
By pairing MDN with Teldio’s Alarm Control System (ACS), alarm notifications are targeted to the
right worker based on the time of day, competency & location. ACS ensures that alarms never
go unnoticed. If the primary response group does not receive or acknowledge the MDN alarm,
it’s appropriately escalated to the next user until it is acknowledged and resolved. MDN is both
reliable and robust, and ready to be integrated into your lone worker policy!
Key Benefits
- Increase Situational Awareness - by installing MDN on mobile workers’ radios, employees are given additional assurance that if an accident were to happen, others would be alerted.
- Enhance Worker Safety - MDN works non-intrusively in the background to ensure that mobile workers are not left to their own peril when completing potentially dangerous tasks. MDN automatically dispatches a notification to response team should a worker fall or have an accident.
- Improve Response Times - When a MDN alarm is activated, the response team is notified and loud audible beacon emitted from the injured worker’s radio ensures the team can quickly locate the distressed worker.
Key Features
- An audible pre-alarm is activated prior to sending MDN notifications to allow users to cancel false alarms.
- Temporarily disable MDN for a pre-configured time & the user is notified when MDN is reactivated.
- Configurable parameters for motion, calibration angle, tilt, pre-alarm and sleep mode timers.
- Emergency notifications are dispatched to the response group when a man down alarm is triggered.
- When paired with Teldio’s ACS, multiple communication devices can receive MDN notifications (email, cell phone, sirens, etc.)
- Loud audio beacon emits from the radio to help the response team locate them.
